Here is my very impressionistic version of a fantastic song off of Grimes’ latest record “Visions.” Generally I have the luxury of light at these shows. She had requested a spotlight-type dramatic wash on the stage. Once the switch was flicked off the flashes came out full force. I have never in my whole life been so grateful for the presence of that many cameras in one place…ever. Drama was achieved just not as easily.
